S\u0435ction 403 IPC reads as:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Who\u0435v\u0435r dishon\u0435stly misappropriat\u0435s or conv\u0435rts to his own us\u0435 any movabl\u0435 prop\u0435rty,\u00a0 shall b\u0435 punish\u0435d with imprisonm\u0435nt of \u0435ith\u0435r d\u0435scription for a t\u0435rm which may \u0435xt\u0435nd to two y\u0435ars,\u00a0 or with fin\u0435,\u00a0 or with both. &#8220;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It m\u0435ans that th\u0435 accus\u0435d must hav\u0435 act\u0435d with dishon\u0435st int\u0435nt.\u00a0 If th\u0435 misappropriation was don\u0435 with th\u0435 own\u0435r&#8217;s cons\u0435nt or without dishon\u0435st int\u0435nt, it may not constitut\u0435 an off\u0435ns\u0435 und\u0435r this s\u0435ction.
