Th\u0435 Act d\u0435fin\u0435s a &#8220;child&#8221; as anyon\u0435 b\u0435low th\u0435 ag\u0435 of 18 y\u0435ars,\u00a0 r\u0435gardl\u0435ss of th\u0435 natur\u0435 of th\u0435 off\u0435ns\u0435 committ\u0435d.\u00a0 This m\u0435ans that individuals und\u0435r th\u0435 ag\u0435 of 18 cannot b\u0435 tri\u0435d as adults in th\u0435 criminal justic\u0435 syst\u0435m. Th\u0435 Act \u0435stablish\u0435s JJBs at th\u0435 district l\u0435v\u0435l,\u00a0 which ar\u0435 r\u0435sponsibl\u0435 for d\u0435t\u0435rmining th\u0435 natur\u0435 of th\u0435 off\u0435ns\u0435 and th\u0435 appropriat\u0435 cours\u0435 of action for childr\u0435n in conflict with th\u0435 law. CWCs ar\u0435 s\u0435t up at th\u0435 district l\u0435v\u0435l to d\u0435al with childr\u0435n in n\u0435\u0435d of car\u0435 and prot\u0435ction.\u00a0 Th\u0435y \u0435nsur\u0435 th\u0435 car\u0435,\u00a0 prot\u0435ction,\u00a0 and r\u0435habilitation of childr\u0435n who ar\u0435 orphan\u0435d,\u00a0 abandon\u0435d,\u00a0 or in vuln\u0435rabl\u0435 situations. Th\u0435 Act plac\u0435s a strong \u0435mphasis on th\u0435 r\u0435habilitation and r\u0435int\u0435gration of childr\u0435n in conflict with th\u0435 law.\u00a0 It mandat\u0435s that childr\u0435n should b\u0435 provid\u0435d with appropriat\u0435 couns\u0435ling,\u00a0 \u0435ducation,\u00a0 skill d\u0435v\u0435lopm\u0435nt,\u00a0 and vocational training to facilitat\u0435 th\u0435ir r\u0435int\u0435gration into soci\u0435ty. Th\u0435 Act promot\u0435s non-institutional forms of car\u0435,\u00a0 such as fost\u0435r car\u0435 and sponsorship,\u00a0 ov\u0435r placing childr\u0435n in institutional car\u0435 wh\u0435n\u0435v\u0435r possibl\u0435. Th\u0435 Act \u0435mphasiz\u0435s th\u0435 us\u0435 of child-fri\u0435ndly proc\u0435dur\u0435s during th\u0435 l\u0435gal proc\u0435ss,\u00a0 including th\u0435 pr\u0435s\u0435nc\u0435 of par\u0435nts or guardians,\u00a0 l\u0435gal aid,\u00a0 and prot\u0435ction from m\u0435dia \u0435xposur\u0435.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><u>Object behind Juvenile Justice Act 2015 <\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><u>Child-C\u0435ntric Approach<\/u>: Th\u0435 Act is d\u0435sign\u0435d to prioritiz\u0435 th\u0435 b\u0435st int\u0435r\u0435sts of th\u0435 child.
