SHAH)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong> Appeal filed against judgment and order dated 15.01.2018 passed by the High Court of Delhi at New Delhi in which it has held that the original writ petitioner would be entitled to compensation under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013, while at the same time declaring that acquisition with respect to the subject land is deemed to have lapsed under Section 24(2) of the act.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Issue:<\/strong> Whether the compensation order passed in favour of the original petitioner valid?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Held:<\/strong> The SC quashed and set aside the order passed by Delhi HC for being unsustainable, allowing the present appeal stating that there shall be no compensation, once there is deemed lapse of acquisition under Section 24(2) of the act.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>National Capital Territory of Delhi &amp; Ors.
